All 10 gears in the 2017 Ford F-150’s 10-speed automatic transmission are on display in this iconic pickup’s newly designed instrument panel.
Created by Ford, this transmission is the first volume-production 10-speed automatic transmission available to consumers. Compared to the previous six-speed transmission used in the F-150, the new 10-speed has smoother acceleration and performance, making for a much more enjoyable ride.
